Welcome to the Black Irish;

The Black Irish Pub, Ottawa, is where we offer primarily refreshing beers, good principally flavored food and pleasant times.
Striven to create a pleasant, low key and slightly upper scale neighbourhood pub, that focus on lunches (catering to the 3000 employees directly behind us) during the day and live music, rehearsal space and private events during the evenings.

The Black Irish Bistro, Gananoque, is a seasonal facility that focuses on an upscale lunch then dinner menu, oysters, wine, music and a unique facility for the area.

Menus fluctuated from simple Pub Apps to fine Hors D'oeuvres, Buffets, Catering and Table D'Hote.
Why the name “The Black Irish Pub”? Although the term “Black Irish” has a variety of meanings, the basic myths are;
1-An Irish person with dark hair and brown eyes
2-An Irish person with slightly darker complexion (the owner after a week in Dom Rep)
3-An Irish person with Spanish roots (this is the case with the owner)
4-An Irishman with "troublesome" behavior (definitely NOT in the case of the owner;) )
We hope you enjoy your visit!
